As George and Kay have always traveled a lot, it would be impossible to list every trip in this space.  However, we'll list a few of the larger trips we've taken in the last few years.

Beginning with Christopher, in 2007, we've taken 10 of the grandchildren so far on a trip without their parents.  These have been fun ways of getting to know each of them.

However, we're not chaperoned on all of our trips -- we go alone at times, too!

  • George and I took an exciting trip in the spring of 2014 to celebrate his recovery.  We went on a re-positioning cruise from Miami to Barcelona, Spain, then stayed on board for another 6 days - until we reached the port of Civitavecchia, near Rome.  We stayed at a convent hotel very close to the Spanish Steps for 5 days, seeing lots of Rome and even going to see a musical, "Jesus Christ Superstar" that was performed in English.  Three days in Venice completed the trip --it was truly wonderful.

  • In January, 2016, we enjoyed a week's cruise to the 'Mexican Riviera' from Los Angeles.

  • January of 2017 found us cruising with Adam and AJ to the western Caribbean, Belize and Cozumel.

  • We took a second re-positioning cruise from Miami to Copenhagen in late April of 2017.  After a few days in Copenhagen, we traveled to Hungary for a family reunion of George's maternal grandmother's family, the Juhasz Family.

  • But the last and most spectacular cruise yet was our recently concluded WORLD CRUISE, from January 4 to April 28, 2018.  Leaving (and returning to) Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, we traveled through the Panama Canal westward through French Polynesia, on around New Zealand and Australia, north through Indonesia to the Philippines and Hong Kong, west to Vietnam, Singapore and Thailand, then south again to go around Africa before heading home.  We stopped in 38 ports and saw many wonderful places.
