Kay and George have been happily retired since 1999. In February of that year they moved to the beautiful mountains of Colorado, where they lived until moving 'down the hill' into a Denver suburb in 2008.  After 5 good years there (in Highlands Ranch), they moved to Shorewood, Wisconsin, a village on Lake Michigan in Milwaukee.  Being near our youngest son and his family (wife and 2 daughters) has been a wonderful opportunity of getting to know our granddaughters while they were in middle and high school.  

 

George has worked doggedly on writing up his genealogical findings while Kay has worked on a variety of projects while finding time for friends in the Shorewood Woman's Club and an arthritis exercise group she regularly attends.  Scrapbooking is still underway to categorize the family photos, but new photos are arranged in digital scrapbooks instead of separate prints.  

 

                 Both Kay and George greatly enjoy travel and still                      do quite a bit.  Below they are shown near a                            local trolley in Tahiti in 2018.
